Do you have the heart of a volunteer?

Become a Peer Educator

What is Peer Education?

Peer Education is a volunteer team consisting of enthusiastic and dynamic young people/young adults. As a peer educator you help FMA with prevention work by, among other things, giving interactive presentations to other young people or other target groups. The central theme of these presentations is ‘addiction’.

As a peer educator you are of great value to bring change in our society in a unique way that only you can!

“We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference."

Nelson Mandela.

The ideal candidate:

  • are 18-40 years old
  • can commit for at least 1 year
  • is available for a minimum of 5 hours per month
  • is creative, dynamic and dares to speak in front of a group
  • masters Dutch and Papiamentu

Papiamentu is the language of the presentations and our meetings. Much of the material used is in Dutch, it is important that you can understand it.
If you master other languages in addition to the languages mentioned above, this is ideal for specific projects.

It is not required to possess knowledge about addiction. FMA will provide the necessary training.

If you dare to stand in front of a group, sign up immediately.
