Treatment especially for young people, to prepare them for a new lifestyle, without addiction.

Ambulatory treatment

Ambulatory: This means that you come to the FMA once a week for treatment and then go home. So you stay in your own environment and can go to school normally.

  • BTU plus  17 – 21

The aim of the program is to enable the participant to make better choices by gaining better insight into his/her behavior based on the information obtained during the programme. The result of this is greater resistance to addiction. The information will be presented in a dynamic way, the participant will be able to identify with it and will be able to express themselves freely in the sessions. Through an interactive way of exchanging information, the participant will be able to further develop his/her social skills.

The ”Bo ta Úniko/Bo ta Úniko Plus” program is a program that pays attention to the physical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects of the participant. In addition, attention will also be paid to the personality and character traits of the participant that are important to bring about a positive change.

The target:

  • Get information about drugs and addiction.
  • Getting to know yourself better, discovering why you are unique.
  • Learn to make wise decisions.
  • Get more control over your emotions.
  • Prevent relapse.
  • Set goals.

During the treatment you will learn:

  • Recognize situations that encourage you to use.
  • Dealing with your emotions.
  • Strengthen your social skills.
  • Prevent relapse.
  • Creating a new & drug-free lifestyle.

What is expected of you?

  • Motivation to work on your addiction.
  • Family members who are willing to support the treatment process.
  • Willing to have urine tests taken.
  • Going to school or working normally during treatment.

Duration of the treatment:

The duration of treatment is determined after the evaluation of the case. The duration of treatment will be shorter for a young person who experiments than for a young person who uses regularly.

The first part of the treatment lasts 4 to 11 weeks. This section consists of weekly group sessions and bi-weekly individual sessions.

Followed by aftercare sessions once a month. The aftercare period lasts 3 to 6 months.

The parents are supported during the treatment. This can be done by telephone, in a group session or during individual sessions.

The treatment consists of conversations and exercises to prepare you for a new lifestyle, without addiction. The treatment is done individually or in a group, together with other young people who are in the same situation as you. You can support each other during the treatment process.

Mini VIP + VIP

Mini VIP + VIP (VIP = Very Important Person)
  • Mini VIP 7-10 year
  • VIP 10 -12 year
Mini VIP and VIP groups are programs that offer support in a playful way to children aged 7 to 12 who live in an addiction environment.
